The terms for using anfa and QuickConnect.

1. Agreement

By using the getanfa.com website or connecting a QuickBooks Online company through QuickConnect, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you connect a company on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so and to bind that business to these terms. Advisory and finance-operations engagements are governed by the proposal or agreement you sign with us; where they differ from these terms, the signed agreement controls.

2. The service

QuickConnect creates a read-only link between a QuickBooks Online company and tools you choose, such as spreadsheets and AI assistants, through an API key issued to you. It retrieves reports and records from QuickBooks on request. It does not create, change or delete anything in your books. QuickConnect is in early access; features may change and availability is not guaranteed.

3. Your responsibilities

• Keep your API key confidential. Anyone holding it can read the connected company’s financial data. Reconnect to replace a key you believe is exposed.
• Only connect companies you are authorised to access, and only share the resulting data with tools and people entitled to see it.
• Do not attempt to circumvent access controls, probe or overload the service, or use it to violate any law or Intuit’s terms.
• You are responsible for the tools you connect. Data delivered to a third-party tool is governed by that provider’s terms.

4. Third-party services

QuickConnect depends on Intuit’s QuickBooks Online platform and on Cloudflare’s hosting. Your use of QuickBooks remains subject to Intuit’s terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or conduct of third-party services, including any AI assistant you choose to connect.

5. Fees

Access to QuickConnect during early access is provided at no charge unless your proposal or agreement with us states otherwise. Fees for advisory and finance-operations services are set out in your proposal. We may introduce subscription pricing for the software with reasonable notice.

6. Not professional advice

Reports retrieved through QuickConnect reflect what is recorded in your QuickBooks company and are provided as-is. Output produced by AI assistants or other tools using that data is generated by those tools, not by anfa. Nothing delivered through the software constitutes accounting, tax, legal or investment advice. Where you engage anfa for advisory services, the scope and standard of that work is defined in your agreement with us.

7. Intellectual property

The website, the QuickConnect service and our templates are owned by anfa or its licensors. You may use our free templates for your own business. You may not resell or redistribute them or reverse-engineer the service. Your financial data remains yours; you grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website and QuickConnect are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, anfa is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the website or the service. Our total liability for claims relating to the software will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Suspension and termination

You may disconnect any company and stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, if required by Intuit or by law, or if continuing would put the service or other users at risk. On termination, connections are revoked and connection data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new date. If you continue to use the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
